Alive in the Root is a roots band from southern Maine that performs original music – a mix of bluegrass, folk, blues, jazz – and covers. AITR focuses on vocal harmonies and eclectic instrumental arrangements with guitars, mandolin, upright bass, and three-part harmonies.
