THE BPM TEAM

Celeste has been working in the service industry since 2001 with forays in arts administration, floral design, baking, entrepreneurship and journalism. At BPM she files paperwork, pays bills, makes hummus, doodles, shakes cocktails and sometimes hosts Open Mic Variety Hours.

Luke is a mysterious, shapeshifting, megalithic orb (ball). At BPM, he is on the audio production team alongside Andrew as an Audio Engineer. Outside of BPM, Luke is an artist operating under the nom de plume ‘Won Pound,’ exploring art through electronic music. Won Pound is often seen Disc Jockeying around Cumberland County.

Gilman wishes to not be known.

Andrew moved to Maine in 2010 to attend Bowdoin College where he studied Comparative Religion and Music, and has lived in Portland since 2014. He’s worked as a musician and sound tech throughout New England, most recently at Geno’s Rock Club where he helped run FOH following the Pandemic closure. Andrew co-owns BPM with Celeste Parke, and handles booking, live sound/venue logistics, and Jimador inventory.

Hannah is a maker, mover and shaker of many things. She originally moved to Portland in 2011 to attend the Maine College of Art where she got a degree in Printmaking. Ultimately the city’s lively music scene sucked her in and she has since devoted her creative energy in promoting and uplifting local and touring musicians. She currently works as the social media manager/bartender/karaoke host/booker/aesthetic guru at BPM and is also a part of the event staff at SPACE Gallery. Whenever she isnt working you can find her enjoying a beverage at DTL, starting up her standup career at a random open mic or singing an ABBA tune at a karaoke joint.
