Layne’s Wine Gig is a shtick with wine from a wine guy who has seen it all, tasted it all and is still having fun doing it. Followed by Jazz Sesh where BPM's house band plays jazz standards and then open ups the stage for anyone to join.

Layne Witherell has been in the wine business since the 1970’s. In that time, he has tasted many thousands of wines. As an importer, wholesaler, retailer, wine judge, winery CEO, radio talk show host and wine teacher – he has lived it all. He has spent his time in San Francisco; Portland, Oregon; Missoula, Montana; Richmond, Virginia; Charlottesville, Virginia and (finally) Portland, Maine.
Each month Layne brings 4 new wines to BPM and teaches us all about them. It is $18 to participate in this unpretentious wine tasting, tickets available below!

Jazz Sesh at BPM is a community event for local jazz musicians. Our house band opens up the sesh, playing their takes on standards and then opens up the stage for anyone with an instrument and a tune to join.
